Boys will be boys

March 24, 2009

1.  Yellow dump truck… check!

2.  Hot Wheels… check!

3.  Soccer ball… check!

This little guy came prepared with all of his favorite toys in hand!

He was on-the-go, busy-busy-busy!  As you can see we even had to call in the SWAT team, *wink-wink*.  Don’t laugh, but my legs were sore less than an hour after our session.  Of course they were even worse the next day!!  Something tells me I must be out of shape!?  This reminds me, my little guy turns one on May 1st.  He too is all over the place, just not walking quite yet.  Guess it’s time I prepare to keep up!

I am halfway through editing the images and these are my favorites so far.  I couldn’t resist the shot of his little hands patiently waiting for my signal for the race to begin!

Susie Woodhead: I love them! Thank you so much for such a great day. I know he doesn't like to have his pic taken and you did such a great job working with him. Where did your duck go? LOL I can't wait to see the rest.

Denise Huber: WOW - you did a great job. these pics are so wonderful!!!

mar-ka-set, go!

Straight from my enthusiastic three [& 1/2] year old, and I couldn’t have said it better myself!

We are excited to be launching our brand new blog, we have lots in store around here, thanks so much for stopping by!

I can’t think of a better way to kick off the new blog than to feature the last few, never-before-seen session previews of 2008 and a couple of 2009. As many of you know my parents were in a terrible car accident in late October.  Our family’s world was turned upside down, but thanks to the power of prayer and modern medicine, my mom and dad survived and their road to recovery is well under way.  I have been working very diligently since to catch back up from the chaos of it all. I completed and proofed a few sessions from October to January, but unfortunately never had the chance to feature them on my blog. I would like to take the opportunity to do that now.

A special thank you to the following families for your patience and support, and for allowing me the pleasure of capturing your moments.

To all four of you, your images were a light in the dark for me during those uncertain months, thank you again.  Please enjoy.

Please tune back in on Sunday, I will be featuring a very sweet and busy 2 year old cutie from my recent session!

See you then :)

Kelly: Jillian I LOVE your new blog and what great images. I agree with Jenny hip and modern for sure and of course beautiful!

Sarah: Thanks for sharing. We wish your parents continued healing. All of the photos are great but may I say I’m most impressed by the Patterson/Moore picture! Congrats to everyone - 13 people looking great at once!

Kimberly: Jill, I love your new site (then again, I loved your old site), you always do everything top notch! I wish I could afford to have you take our pics every few months! :) I continue to pray for your dad's healing and for the transitions for the rest of your family. You have a great family and I miss seeing you guys around! Please know that we think of you often. Thanks again for the beautiful family pictures. I treasure them! xoxo

Kia Gregory: Your new site is wonderful, Jill! The images are beautiful.

Shannon: Hello Jill, You NEVER seem to amaze me anymore. You truly have a gift and I can't wait for you to take photos of the four of us when our new little muffin arrives. And keep in mind for her newborn pictures in May. :) We are both SO proud of you and I hope that God keeps blessing this wonderful gift of yours. We hope to see you soon, we miss you to pieces. :)
