I had previously dropped the ball on my casting call announcement slated for back on July 13th, turns out my plans fell through and my ideas were all a scatter.  Only momentarily that is, so without further adieu…

Occasionally I have an idea for an extra-ordinary and/or unique photo shoot.  Being that I can’t use my children for each and every idea I have, however fun that would be for me!!  I will ask you, my clients and friends for your help.  It’s a win-win… I get to bring my ideas to life, and for this particular idea, in exchange for purchasing the suggested items, you get great clothes [to keep] and a super-duper, fun-filled photo session for FREE!!

I have hand selected the following pieces from the new Boarding School Collection coming soon to GAP stores.  Mind you, this entire collection is HUGE!!  I am told that it should be in stores late next week, which might be too late for the date of the shoot??  If anything, it is definitely available online right now!

on some of my old stomping grounds.

This [amazing] girl and I go way back.  We were elementary and high school friends back in the day.  She now lives with her husband Mark, and their two boys in the great state of Texas.  Lucky for us, her parents still live in Manteca; in one of the most amazing and beautiful county properties around!  A place where a ton of memories were made!  Thanks for the old memories as well as these these new ones, it was a true pleasure to capture the next generation on this soil!

Jackson was by far my best 4 year ’subject’ to date!!  He was a natural in front of the camera.  He was sweet and fun and thought I was very funny!  Bonus points for me :)  Little Tucker on the other hand was not real sure of me and my camera, but did think I was funny at least once!!  I successfully walked away with some amazing and priceless images, below are a few of my favorites.

I am looking to find an old barn, nestled  on a fabulous piece of country property.  Something old and rustic would be perfect!  Peeling paint, grain and farm equipment in the scene, really anything to make the location more colorful and interesting is a plus, AND an old parked truck would be icing on the cake!!  I am looking in or around the areas of Manteca, Escalon, Ripon and Tracy.  My plan is to use this as a backdrop for a few of of my upcoming fall sessions.
